The law of home reno projects is that the project doubles in complexity and cost the minute you are done the demolition. The home office reno project is well underway .. the room is now bare .. the olde desks and Ikea-crap are gone .. so is the gross carpet.

Now, it looks like the electrical panel needs to be upgrade .. and friends and family have convinced me that a murphy bed would be good for me for those late nites — or perhaps they should have just come out and said that it would be great for them when they visit!.

Wish list:

  • Flat Panel Displays 23″ or bigger, mounted on arms .. must be able to rotate to portrait
  • Mac machines visible .. Windoz Machines Hidden from view!
  • More Power/Plugs
  • CAT5e
  • All Wires Hidden
  • Murphy Bed
  • Somewhere for all the books that make up my collective brain
  • Filing Space
  • Tech upgradeable .. I am sure we will have CAT6 next .. then CAT7 .. every cable run must be hidden by accessable
  • Westcoast Wood, and Glass .. more work for David at SOMA?
  • Must blend-in design-wise into the rest of the houst
  • oh, and hardwood floors
  • oh, oh .. and a new chair!
