Tangler Goes Autonomous

AJAX is driving more of a connected, we are watching you feeling in modern UIs. Tangler supports both synchronous and asynchronous updates to real-time forum discussions without page refreshes.
I would expect in coming months we will see a lot of other products support autonomous updates between the user and the application back-end. Issues remain with various browser platforms and the lack of consistent support for AJAX .. leading to code branches specific to specific browsers and even versions of specific browsers.
AJAX is a solution, but perhaps not the next solution. Flex and other runtime embedded technology may provide a more predictable experience for the user. However, users will have to wait for ports of the runtime environment for each of their chooses platforms and browsers.
