Vacationing Kids Almost Burn Down Our Place!

Four little monsters getting a good talking to by parents, police and Deputy Fire Commander
It’s 2pm in the afternoon .. and it sounds like some olde war movie.
There are like five helos flying overhead. Step outside .. and folks are running around like mad. The hillside behind our place is on fire, water bombers have been called in. Prepare to leave.
This does not work for me — six weeks into new job and real busy. Have 1:1 with new boss in like 45 mins. But you know — it does not look too good at the outset.
.. 4pm .. kids admit to accidentally starting the forest fire with fireworks. Kids are charged with Criminal Arson, and Mischief.
.. as we head off to bed, the fire is still burning — we await either sunrise or a knock on the door.

They started with an empty oxygen bottle! .. next comes the ride in the helicopter water basket .. then the drop from the tanker.
